1What happens in the case rain or inclement weather?
The event will proceed unless it is unsafe. Contact the venues for specific details.
2Can I bring my own food/snacks/picnic or drinks?
There is a NO BYO policy across all event venues. All venues offer food and drinks, they have gone to great extents to ensure your needs are covered and that fabulous food and wine will be available.
3Is there onsite parking?
All venues have ample parking.
4What do we bring?
This will vary from venue to venue - come prepared for outdoor weather conditions - bring hat, sunscreen, a picnic rug. Please do not bring … food, alcohol, drinks, the venues will cater to all your needs.
5Where do I park if I wish to take the event shuttle?
Event shuttle parking and pick up will be in the centre of Broke, next to the Fire Shed at McTaggart Park.
6Are families/children welcome?
All welcome - enjoy the ambience of each venue. Children must be supervised and some venues offer activities for children and adults alike. Please check the program.
7Do I need to bring cash?
All venues accept EFTPOS and credit card for wine sales. The nearest ATM is at the Broke Village Store.
8Where do I buy event tickets?
See specific venue details. Some venues have pre-event ticket requirements; some venues have tickets available on the day. Event souvenir wine glasses are available at all venues for $15; your event glass is your key for enjoying wine tasting and sales throughout the day ($2 from every glass sale goes to the Singleton Cancer Appeal).
9Where do I buy my event wine glasses?
Event souvenir wine glasses are available at all venues for $15; your event glass is your key for enjoying wine tasting and sales throughout the day ($2 from every glass sale goes to the Singleton Cancer Appeal). This year's glasses are being supplied by Italian glass company Zafferano.
10Do I have to purchase an event wine glass if I just want to taste wines?
Yes your glass is your key to enjoying wine on the day.
11Do I need to purchase an event glass at every venue I visit?
No, purchase your glass at the first winery you visit and take this from venue to venue throughout the weekend.
12What if I lose or break my event glass?
You will need to purchase another glass.
13Can I bring my pet/dog?
Please contact wineries directly to see if they accept pets/dogs.
