Olive oil pizza cooked in the wood fired oven, sound tempting? This year you’ll learn to make your own & enjoy one (or two) for lunch as Chef Andy Wright of The Cellar Restaurant joins Whispering Brook with his pop-up restaurant & pizza demonstrations.
Have you ever been on an Olive Grove or Vineyard walk & talk with the grower? Here’s your opportunity, owners Susan & Adam & their grower Ron Corino will be hosting the walk & talks each morning at 11.15am (bookings not required). The olive grove was planted in 1997 & 1998 & produces premium Tuscan varietal olive oils & Kalamata table olives; they grow Semillon, Shiraz, Merlot & the elusive Touriga Nacional in the vineyard.
Fascinated by the art & skills of a milliner? Talented Milliner Cathy Kelly of Embellish Atelier will showcase her collection & run a hands on millinery workshop on Sunday afternoon from 2pm. Cathy is inspired by the catwalks of Milan & the sophistication & glamour of the Italian Woman of a bygone era.
Relax under the shade of the verandah, or on a long table in the olive grove, lunch Italian style, enjoy local wines & olives or take in a workshop that certainly is sampling The Good Life!
